The Metropole has 2 comfortable lounges, one adjoining the restaurant and Met Café Bar that is perfect for after dinner digestifs and coffee. The other spacious lounge is adjacent to Reception. This lounge is suitable for meetings and private functions.
Aside from the benefit of free Wi-fi, the hotel can arrange for the hire of the most up to date equipment for your meeting requirements. (We hope to be offering video conference facility by 2008).
Our gardens are well-tended and filled with lots of interesting plants that our gardener will delighted to tell you about.
The Met also has an outdoor swimming pool that is open during the summer months of July and August. The rest of the year the huge swimming pool, otherwise known as the estuary or sea, is available!
