Here we are, all bright eyed and bushy tailed amid quite a few bleary eyes, sorting out after last night’s party.  We had 75 in for a residential dinner dance and everyone seems to have had a good time: the music was just right, a locally based duo who I have booked for next year already.  Tim and Diane really made the evening, the dance floor was packed all night, will have to make it a bit bigger for next year.  At 9.15 we’ve only had half a dozen people down for breakfast but I have seen a few more people up and around so things should start to pick up soon. 

Some of my staff seem to be in need of a mug or two of coffee - only a few of us had to stay till the end so they managed to get out around 10 so still had enough time for their own parties around town, Laura even went over to Lostwithiel to meet up with her partner and friends - driving over in fancy dress!  She’s back in now but is looking forward to a day off tomorrow.
